At Lakeland Herbs we produce a range of organic herb tinctures (herbal remedies) and herbal oils to Demeter standard using biodynamic fresh herbs, organic oils and alcohol. We are committed to producing hand-made, organic, high quality herbal tinctures, oils and remedies believing them to be the best.

Lakeland Herbs is situated in the Crake Valley in the Lake District, just a few miles south of Coniston Water. It looks up to the Old Man of Coniston and is surrounded by woodland and fell. A beautiful and peaceful setting far away from the pollutants of our modern industrial age and an ideal location to grow medicinal herbs. The land is organic with a natural meadow area in which we grow the herbs. The natural seclusion of the place with a stream running beside the wood provides an ideal habitat for our herbs, and local wildlife to flourish.
 
Lakeland Herbs has a medicinal herb collection gathered over many years by herbalists and others from various sources. All our growing, propagating and planting is annually inspected, checked and certified as organic and biodynamic by Demeter. They are the certification inspectors for the Biodynamic Agricultural Association.
